Catalunya World Theatre was born out of love for Barcelona, Catalunya and its mesmerizing culture.

We want to create a bridge between Catalunya and the outsiders who live here, we offer Catalan plays in English and information on the government's free classes, that way you can fall in love with Catalan theatre in your language and get inspired to learn more.

Catalunya currently has 2.5M expats as per the 2020 sensus, and those are only the ones the government can verify. 

Everyone is welcome in this beautiful city, we need to understand its history, be empathetic towards its peoples struggles and most of all understand why they love and protect their own culture as they do.

We promise you, the deeper you go into Catalan culture, the deeper you'll feel the love of the catalan people.
